The Military Affairs Council (MAC) is offering a fellowship opportunity to provide Chamber members with a greater understanding about the MAC’s mission to promote, preserve and protect the military presence in Hawaii, as well as the significant role the MAC plays in supporting this vital economic sector.
From May-September 2016, fellows will have the unique opportunity to attend MAC meetings and briefings, participate in visits to military sites and engage with military leaders at MAC events.
Fellowship candidates must be a Chamber member in good standing, agree to attend at least one MAC meeting or event each month during the duration of the program (5 minimum) and develop a report that summarizes the entirety of his or her experience. Additionally, candidates who are selected as fellows will be required to pay $350 to cover costs associated with their participation.
Interested candidates should email VP of Military Affairs Kamakana Kaimuloa by April 20. Space is limited and acceptance into the program will be determined on a case-by-case basis. We encourage members to apply for this unique opportunity.
