The Chamber is pleased to announce the line up of activities for Chamber Week 2020, January 13-17, giving members and the business community an opportunity to meet legislators and share their thoughts and concerns about the business climate in Hawaii. Chamber Week is timed to coincide with the opening of the legislative session on Wednesday, January 15.

MONDAY, JANUARY 13

#4HI Campaign Launch

Join us for the launch of the Chamber’s 4HI campaign. As the first event of 2020 Chamber Week, this informative session will share information on the Chamber’s #4HI campaign, which focuses on four pillars: Economy, Environment, Education and Entrepreneurship.

From Hawaii to the Hill: Legislative & Policy Outlook

Hear from experts on 2020 legislation that will impact the business community. Join this informative session to learn about how the legislative process works locally and nationally, the benefits of joining a Chamber policy committee and getting involved in support of your business.

Policy Is Not Trivia, But Tonight It’s A Game!

The Chamber’s Young Professionals Program leads a friendly game of trivia on the legislative process and current events. Test your trivia skills and get to know your fellow young professionals over pupus and a beverage. Teams of four will compete for bragging rights!

THURSDAY, JANUARY 16

We Mean Business – Capitol Walkaround
9:30 – 11:30 AM
Hawaii State Capitol, 415 S. Beretania St.

Start the new year off on the right foot, and join your fellow Chamber members and staff for a walk around the Capitol to meet with legislators and their staff.

Discuss your concerns and positions on key business issues, and take advantage of the opportunity to network with your fellow Chamber members and discuss shared positions.
