More Hawaii businesses are expected to mandate the COVID-19 vaccine for their employees following the FDA’s announcement.
The Hawaii Restaurant Association and the Chamber of Commerce say some of their members have already implemented mandates for their employees.
Both organizations believe more employers will feel comfortable carrying out vaccine mandates following the recent news. B
“Some of the reasons they were not going to mandate was waiting for FDA approval so based on that there will be some businesses that will seriously consider whether to implement vaccinations in the work place,” said Sherry Menor–McNamara, President & CEO of the Chamber of Commerce Hawaii.
