HONOLULU (KITV4) — Over 90 high school students from Campbell, Castle and Waipahu High Schools participated in field trips to more than five engineering firms across Honolulu.

The event was hosted by Chamber of Commerce Hawaii, and students had the opportunity to participate in hands-on learning activities at the firms’ offices.

The participating engineering firms included Martin Defense Group, Hensel Phelps, Booz Allen Hamilton, Oceanit and WSP USA.

The Chamber of Commerce Hawaii is a statewide, non-profit organization whose mission is to serve as the advocate for business in Hawaii. The Chamber’s 4HI efforts — Economy, Environment, Education and Entrepreneurship —  serves 2,000+ member organizations, supporting its members with training, business building and networking opportunities.
