HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – Local businesses put their work on display Thursday morning at the state Capitol.

It’s all part of Manufacturing Day, an annual event organized by the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, in partnership with Hawaii Technology Development Corporation, state Sen. Lynn Decoite and state Rep. Daniel Holt.

“We do the annual Made in Maui County festival every year so all of these products are made in Maui products from different vendors across the island,” said Amber Coutsos from the Maui Chamber of Commerce.

Organizers say it’s an opportunity to highlight the benefits of manufacturing and its importance to the economy and local jobs. To read the full article, click here.
