David Tumilowicz

David Tumilowicz oversees advertising and brand management, member and employee communications as well as public relations and media support for Kaiser Permanente’s Hawaii Region since September 2017.
Prior to his current role, he served in a variety of positions at Kaiser Permanente including director of account management, director of sales operations and strategic market planning, and director of business engagement.
Tumilowicz formerly worked as publisher of Hawaii Business and Hawaii magazines, and as vice-president at PacificBasin Communications, Hawaii’s largest magazine publishing house.
He currently serves as a board member on the Oahu Economic Development Board and the Chamber of Commerce Workforce Development Committee. Tumilowicz was the recipient of the Distinguished Citizen Award at the 2012 annual Men’s March Against Domestic Violence. He is an alumnus of the Pacific Century Fellows program and the Kaiser Permanente Executive Leadership Program at Harvard Business School.
Tumilowicz holds his BA in Sociology from the Pennsylvania State University and a MA in Sociology from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
