Emily Pellin Kleiner is Director of Events and Promotions at Pacific Business News. PBN is the only local business newspaper in Hawaii that publishes a print edition each Friday, continuously posts breaking news on their website www.pacificbusinessnews.com and produces two news updates each business day by subscription email.

PBN is part of privately held American City Business Journals, which publishes business journals in 43 cities across the country and is owned by the Newhouse family.

Emily is a California native, originally from Los Angeles but with extensive experience in the San Francisco Bay Area and Wine Country. Prior to moving to Hawaii, Emily was a Senior Account Executive at Elaine Bell Catering, a high-end catering and event production company with offices in Napa and San Francisco. With a background in food and wine pairing, she serviced a thousands of social and corporate events- with Fortune 500 companies, tech icons, and dozens of wineries as her main clientele. She received the Rising Star Award in 2007, her first year with the company.

Emily currently serves on the steering committee for the Chamber of Commerce Young Professionals Group, is a member of EWI International, and runs Bizwomen Connect, a private women’s networking group hosted by Pacific Business News. She also regularly volunteers with Catholic Charities Hawaii.
