“This is the third year in a row that we’ve collaborated with local artist Nick Kuchar, whose beach inspired artwork is enjoyed by all ages,” said Ezy Paeste, Kahala Mall General Manager. “Nick’s original design, which he creates exclusively for our tote bags, have become a collector’s item for many of our local and visitor customers! It’s a memorable and useful keepsake perfect for a day at the beach, a picnic at the park or shopping at Kahala Mall. Shoppers better hurry, though, there are only a limited number of these totes available, and last year they disappeared after a few weeks!”

The tote is 100 percent cotton, made in the USA and screen printed with care in Hawaii.

Oahu artist Nick Kuchar is inspired by the early days of surfing and the beach culture, including the vintage color palette, typography and nostalgia that goes along with it. Kuchar’s artwork transports viewers back in time, a tribute to the era before mass production.  He currently operates the Nick Kuchar Art & Design Co. from his studio on the island of Oahu, Hawaii.
