Jessica Yuhara is Vice President, Marketing and Strategy at upspring, aio’s Honolulu-based consulting company.  In this role, she is responsible for developing upspring’s marketing offering and overseeing the success of client campaigns.  Leading strategy, Jessica and upspring’s team of consultants deliver solutions that enable clients, predominantly Hawaii’s top-250, to meet unique business and marketing objectives.

Prior to joining aio’s upspring, Jessica served as Associate Director of Strategic Development at Fullscreen Media.  Alongside the leadership team, she refined the division’s offerings internal capabilities, resulting in +35% YoY revenue growth and 93%+ client retention.  In this role, she oversaw partnerships with clients including Whole Foods, Universal Studios, Bratz!, E! Entertainment, Esquire, Vans, Oprah, VICE, and AT&T.  Jessica led the development and execution of KPI-driven digital marketing, social content, and branding strategies across key client objectives – awareness, reach, audience growth, and conversion.  Initiatives ranged from organic social and paid media, influencer activations, integrated marketing, and branded content strategy.

Jessica also spearheaded the division’s internal culture and development plan, resulting in 91% retention of a team of over one hundred.  To amplify awareness around the agency’s offering, she also produced thought-leadership content including – “3 Ways To Break Through On The Mobile Consumer Journey” Adlibbing: The Ad Council’s Blog for Social Good Marketers and “4 Takeaways From The YouTube Brand Playbook” Fullscreen – Brand Thinking.

Prior to her role at Fullscreen,  Jessica served as an Account Executive at Sony Pictures Entertainment, an Independent Producer, and Director of Events and Promotion for Black Card Events, where she produced tentpole events (including Fashion Week, VidCon, Slate/Pool, Grammy’s, Coachella) and hosted ongoing nights at premiere Los Angeles venues such as Les Deux, Geisha House, Hyde, The Standard, and The Roosevelt. 

When not hiking or playing at the beach with her dog, Kaimana, Jessica can be found checking out live music, watching local news, or practicing and teaching C2 and Sculpt at Core Power Yoga.
