As Membership Account Executive, Jonah Wataru is responsible for acquiring new members for the Chamber, as well as cultivating relationships and engaging with current members.

Jonah was born and raised on Oahu and graduated from Iolani school in Honolulu. He attend Azusa Pacific University on a football scholarship and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business management.

Prior to joining the Chamber, Jonah worked for Azusa Pacific University’s Event Services and Athletic programs. He also interned at American Savings Bank’s Enterprise Data Department. He has a passion for learning, relationships and helping others succeed.

Outside of the workplace, Jonah loves to bodyboard, hike, go to the gym and coach football.  He volunteered for the Gridiron Performance Academy and Brian Derby football camps, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and APU Community Outreach events.
