Kathy Inouye has recently taken the role of Senior Advisor at Kobayashi Group. She previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer and oversaw its development activities. During her career she has been involved in the design and development of various master planned communities, luxury resorts, hotel developments, shopping centers, and a number of condominium projects which include Hokua, Capitol Place, ONE Ala Moana and Park Lane. She is actively involved in all areas of the development process including the performance of due diligence for the procurement of property, feasibility analyses, site planning, product development, entitlement processing, contractual negotiations, and construction.

At Kobayashi Group, she has also overseen the development of the UH Cancer Center, the newly developed wing at the Kapiolani Women and Children’s Medical Center, and a number of very progressive, public-private partnership developments with the State. Their most recent project involves the design and development of a new Juvenile Services Center coupled with a very low income rental project targeted to meet Hawaii’s overwhelming housing needs at 60% of the Area Median Income.

Ms. Inouye has served on a number of non-profit boards and has received a number of personal and professional recognition awards.
