Kim-Anh Nguyen, MD, PhD
President and Chief Executive Officer, Blood Bank of Hawaii
Prior to Blood Bank of Hawaii, Dr. Nguyen served as the Medical Director at Blood Centers of the Pacific in San Francisco and concurrently Chief Medical Officer, Western Region, United Blood Services as well as Director of the BCP/UCSF Transfusion Medicine Fellowship Program and Associate Clinical Professor of Laboratory Medicine at UCSF. She also is a Clinical Assistant Professor at University of Hawaii, John A. Burns School of Medicine. Dr. Nguyen received her MD and PhD in immunology from the University of Pennsylvania. She completed her clinical pathology residency at UCSF and transfusion medicine fellowship in the joint Blood Centers of the Pacific/UCSF program. She currently serves on the California Blood Bank Society Board of Directors.
